Brava is built on something simple: the belief that fashion is more interesting when it's shared. Our dinners, workshops, and events exist to create the kind of connection that doesn't happen by accident — and these guidelines exist to protect that.

They apply to everyone who participates in Brava, whether you're a founding member, a first-time event attendee, or someone who found us through a friend. Being part of this community is a choice, and it comes with the responsibility to show up for it.

Breaches may result in warnings, removal from events, suspension of membership, or in serious cases, involvement of law enforcement. To report anything, email victoria@thebravaedit.com.

Conduct & Content

  • Respect: Brava brings together people with different backgrounds, aesthetics, and points of view. Treat everyone with genuine respect. Harassment, bullying, and emotional abuse have no place here.

    • Example: Targeting someone with repeated insults about their style, appearance, or choices — in person or in the WhatsApp community — is a violation.

  • Hate Speech: Dehumanizing language or behavior directed at anyone based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or nationality is strictly prohibited.

    • Example: Making derogatory comments about a group of people, even framed as humor, creates a hostile environment and is grounds for permanent removal.

  • Sexual Harassment: Unwelcome sexual conduct of any kind is prohibited. This includes unsolicited messages or images, unwanted physical contact, or making someone feel objectified or unsafe.

    • Example: Pursuing someone romantically after they've made clear they're not interested, or sending explicit content without consent, is a serious violation.

  • Violence & Threats: Threatening, promoting, or engaging in physical violence or intimidation is not tolerated. Any verified history of violent or sexual misconduct may also disqualify someone from participating in Brava.

    • Example: Threatening another attendee — at the event or afterwards — is grounds for an immediate and permanent ban.

  • Nudity & Explicit Content: No sexual, explicit, or graphic content is permitted at events or in any Brava channel.

    • Example: Sharing explicit imagery in the WhatsApp community or making overtly sexual remarks at a dinner disrupts the environment we're working to create.

  • Child Safety: Any content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers children is strictly banned and will be reported to authorities without exception.

  • Dangerous Organizations: Promoting or associating with violent, extremist, or terrorist groups is prohibited.

    • Example: Recruiting for or advocating on behalf of a group known for violence or extremism at a Brava event is incompatible with our values and will result in a permanent ban.

  • Misinformation: Spreading false information about Brava, its events, venues, or other members is not permitted.

    • Example: Sharing incorrect information about an event location or making false claims about another member damages trust within the community.

  • Violent or Graphic Content: Sharing graphic imagery involving injury, weapons, or violence through any Brava channel is prohibited.

Commercial Activity

  • Brava is not a marketplace: Events and community channels are not spaces for selling, promoting, or soliciting products, services, or business opportunities — unless Brava has explicitly invited it.

    • Example: Using a dinner to pitch your business, hand out flyers, or recruit others into a scheme is a violation, regardless of how legitimate the offer is.

  • Scams & Fraud: Deceptive financial activity of any kind is prohibited. Do not ask other members for money or financial information.

    • Example: Approaching another attendee with a fake investment opportunity or misrepresenting yourself for financial gain is fraud.

  • Controlled Substances: The sale or distribution of illegal drugs at any Brava event is strictly prohibited.

    • Example: Offering or dealing illegal substances at an event will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

  • Spam: Do not send unsolicited promotional messages or bulk content to other members through WhatsApp or any other Brava channel.

    • Example: Messaging multiple members with business offers or affiliate links is disruptive and not permitted.

Privacy & Content Rights

  • Photography: Always ask before photographing or filming other attendees. Not everyone wants to appear on social media — and that should always be respected.

    • Example: Taking photos at a dinner and posting them publicly without checking with the people in them is a breach of privacy, even if it feels harmless.

  • Brava content: By attending a Brava event, you consent to photography or video captured by the Brava team, which may be used on our platforms and marketing channels. If you'd prefer not to be included, let us know at the event.

  • Member privacy: Do not share personal information about other members — contact details, photos, or anything shared in confidence — without their explicit consent.

Attendance

  • Show up: Register only for events you intend to attend. If you can't make it, cancel in advance. No-shows for more than two events may result in suspension or a permanent ban — last-minute gaps affect the whole group, especially at intimate dinners.

  • No uninvited guests: Your ticket or reservation is for you only. Do not bring a +1 unless the event is explicitly open to it. Doing so may result in removal and a ban from future events.

  • Ticket transfers: Can't make it? You may transfer or resell your ticket.

Reporting

If something happens that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable — before, during, or after a Brava event — please tell us. We take every report seriously and handle them with discretion. Email victoria@thebravaedit.com. In a physical emergency, call 112.

Enforcement

Violations may result in a warning, removal from an event, suspension of membership, or a permanent ban — depending on severity. Brava reserves the right to take action without prior notice and does not guarantee the right of appeal in all cases.
